At ASG Cleaning Services we not only clean your block paving, we also offer a complete refurbishment service. Whatever the size of the installation - from small household driveway to industrial car parks - the process is the same :-

1 - The area is swept over to remove any lose debris.
2 - Any stains or chewing gum are treated with the application of suitable chemicals.
3 - The block paving is meticulously pressure washed using a rotary washer connected to high pressure water (300psi/ 200Bar). Pressure washing removes a small amount of jointing sand and weeds, moss, algae, lichens, dirt and grease.
4 - In order to restore your property to its original condition all walls, fences or boundaries are washed down to remove any deposits. All windows affected proffionally cleaned for FREE.
5 - Once cleaned the block paving is treated with an industrial herbicide (weed killer) to tliminate remaining weeds and roots.
6 - Once the paving is dry the area is re-sanded using kiln dried silica sand and vibrated (compacted) back into the joints.
7 - You then have the option of having your paving sealed. The sealer we use is called PIC-SEAL, which is a heavy duty selaer designed to enhance block paving. Not only will it penetrate and protect the blocks from future stains but it also adds an anti-slip product to make the paving safer under foot.

Maintenance Programme :-

Finally we offer a maintenance programme: every three months we will re-sand (if required) and re-apply weedkiller. This service is available for both sealed and non-sealed installations. Sealed installations will still benefit from the treatment as it stops weeds from growing on top of the seal.
